NewGPS! Joystick Review

NewGPS! Joystick is a free travel and navigation app developed by DataComputer for Android devices. The app claims to be able to overwrite the user's location in an entertaining way, allowing them to try any app or be anywhere in the world at any location.

To use the app, it requires access to the internet to show the map view, access to the coarse and fine location, and permission to allow mock locations in developer settings. Additionally, the app needs to read and write external storage to export and import settings and KML files.

For older versions of Android, Lollipopand lower, NewGPS! Joystick must be a system app with required ROOT access and mock locations disabled. For Android versions 6 and 7, ROOT is not necessary, but the app needs to be set as an app for simulated locations and the GPS needs to be set to "Device sensors only". If the user wants simulated locations without setting the app in developer settings, NewGPS! Joystick must be a system application (with required ROOT access) and mock locations must be disabled.

Overall, NewGPS! Joystick offers an interesting concept for travel and navigation, but the installation process may be complicated for some users.
